Shutterly Fabulous was borne out of necessity. A necessity to create a customer service focused UK shutter company which offered customers a unique, high quality product.

That was back in 2002. Since then, we’ve grown to become the UK’s leading shutter company and the preferred supplier of John Lewis & Partners.

Not everyone requires the services of an expert to install their shutters. We know there are many customers who feel comfortable measuring and installing shutters themselves. It’s for you that we created California Shutters.

California Shutters was conceived from day one as a ‘Do It Yourself’ shutter company, with a huge focus on building a simple online ordering process.

But the key to our success has been the care and attention we offer our customers. The Shutter Store

Born in the USA…

To some, it seemed strange that we’d open a shutter company in the USA, the ‘home’ of the plantation shutter. To us, it seemed strange not to. We felt that we could offer American shutter customers something different. The truth is, there were just not many companies ‘doing’ DIY shutters very well.

Using the experience gained in the UK we opened The Shutter Store in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2009 and focused on selling shutters online for DIY self-installation. In March 2014 we turned our logic full circle and launched The Shutter Store in the UK.

DIY Shutters

With the UK ecommerce shutter market growing at +45% YoY it became time to introduce a new platform and shutter product into the UK market for the do-it-yourself customer.

In March 2015 DIY Shutters was launched offering a range of shutter products at the lowest possible UK prices. We strive to offer the same great customer service as with our other ecommerce brands, just with an even simpler product offering.
